Our property has 51 rooms in three buildings along a ridgeline – Chinquapin, Chewink, and Treetops.  We offer rooms with 1 king bed (max occupancy 2), 1 queen bed (max occupancy 3, with an additional rollaway), or with 2 double beds (max occupancy 4).  All rooms come with your own private porch or balcony with rocking chairs facing our world-famous view of the Pisgah National Forest and Looking Glass Rock.

Each building has both first and second floor rooms; however, there are no elevators.  Some may also be surprised by the fact that our rooms do not have air conditioning.  Natural breezes at an elevation of nearly 5,000 feet generally provide a comfortable atmosphere for our guests.

All rooms, minus the Pisgah Room, have roughly the same square footage and layout with the exception of the bathrooms.  In Chinquapin and Chewink the shower is step-in.  Treetops has tub-showers.

ADA Compliant and Handicap Accessible Rooms are available in our Chewink building on the first floor.  Each ADA room has a queen bed, sliding doors for deck access, and a large bathroom with additional grab-bars, shower seat, and a hand-held shower head.

Pisgah Room
The Pisgah Room is what we consider to be the ultimate in “top of the mountain” accommodations.  It includes one king bed, Keurig, refrigerator, gas log fireplace, a living room area, and big, flat screen TV.  Sliding glass doors lead out to a double balcony overlooking a panoramic mountain view.  There is but one Pisgah Suite!  It is recommended to reserve it far in advance.

All rooms are non-smoking and pet free.  There is no minimum stay – you can stay with us just one night!  The maximum length is 5 nights.

Remember, the Inn is only open April through October, so reserve your stay early.  We accept reservations up to 366 days in advance.
