Expectations

The Pisgah Inn is open from April Through October in 2021. There are a few changes from past years.

The Dining Room is open by reservation only.

  • The dining room is operating at reduced capacity, with tables spaced well apart.
  • Most tables in the dining room can seat up to 4 guests. Availability for groups of 5 or 6 is very limited.  Due to continuing health restrictions, we will not be pushing tables together for large groups.
  • We are open to the public for lunch by reservation only, up to 30 days in advance.  All lunch reservations are processed online via this link, rather than by telephone.
  • Breakfast and Dinner in the dining room are available by reservation for hotel guests at menu prices. Hotel guests must call 828-235-8228 for reservations.
  • Space is very limited at breakfast and dinner for outside guests.  We recommend picking up some “grab and go” items from the cafe, and bringing them to the picnic area nearby.  While you’re in, feel free to check with the dining room host for same day reservations.

The Grazing Deer Cafe is open every day.

  • We have a selection of sandwiches, salads, pastries, desserts, snacks, picnic supplies, and more.  As of August 7th, we no longer offer take-out from the Dining Room menu.
  • Picnic tables are located throughout the property and at the Mt. Pisgah Picnic area near milepost 407.
  • Help us reduce crowds by selecting only one or two people from your group to enter the cafe, if possible.

The hotel front desk is located in the Restaurant Building.

  • You may reserve up to two hotel rooms for your trip.  We will be seating a maximum of 6 people per table.
  • Our housekeepers will not be entering your room during your stay — they’ll knock on your door each morning to check on your needs.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED

  • Starting July 28th, 2021, by order of the Department of the Interior, the National Park Service requires ALL GUESTS and staff to wear a mask indoors, regardless of disability or vaccination status at all facilities along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We tell you all of this to be completely transparent.  We want you to be surprised in a positive way.  We look forward to your visit and we will do our best to give you a great memory and experience as safely as possible.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any comments or concerns.

Hope to see you all and stay healthy.
